Rent an Excavator Mulcher to Solve Jobsite Challenges

An excavator forestry mulcher rental helps you solve problems on your project:

• Create mulch: Cut unwanted vegetation into a ground-covering layer. Mulch helps stabilize cleared areas and reduce exposed soil.
• Manage vegetation: Excavator mulcher attachments can cut through brush, saplings and other vegetation. Manage invasive species or cut through overgrown areas without multiple pieces of equipment.
• Prepare sites: With mulching heads and rotating cutting drums, forestry mulchers clear access paths and lots. They prepare rough terrain for the next phase of work.
• Expand your mini excavator capability: With an attachment rental, you can take on land-clearing work without buying dedicated equipment or adding another rental unit to the site.
• Mitigate fire risk: Forestry mulchers remove dry vegetation and create mulch. This can help reduce the fuel available for forest fires. Mulching can also create protective firebreaks around vulnerable areas. However, fire risk depends on site conditions, mulch depth, fuel load and treatment plan.
• Support operator control: Operators can run the attachment from the excavator cab. This helps them keep more distance from the cutting head and surrounding debris.
• Handle different kinds of terrain: With the right excavator and attachment pairing, you can reach vegetation on slopes, in ditches and across uneven terrain.

Tackle Challenging Applications

An excavator mulcher attachment lets you work on slopes and around obstacles. It can support the following applications:

• Land clearing and forestry work
• Right-of-way and rail-line clearing
• Firebreak and vegetation management
• Invasive species and overgrowth control
• Creek, canal and riverbank maintenance, where site conditions allow
